As a child, I lingered in the background, drawing and observing a world of shapes and symbols that others often overlooked. That instinct never faded; it simply evolved.

I am Dorsherelle Fields—though most know me as Dosh Owner and Creator of Blaqform. Based in Jacksonville, Florida, I work as a visual artist, poet, and essayist. My art explores the intersection of abstraction, Afrocentricity, and vivid geometric design. My practice is rooted in mixed media, weaving together drawing, painting, and digital craft to achieve a unique balance in every piece.

My writing shares this same spirit, yet each form serves a distinct purpose. My poems function as narratives; some serve as companions to my visual art, articulating the stories held within the images, while others are spontaneous, profound expressions of life’s beauty and essence. My essays cast a wider net, addressing global issues—social injustice, politics, climate, and the complexities of human relationships. More than mere opinion, these essays are analytical annotations of my observations, experiences, and feelings, all anchored in spiritual discipline.

My work is unapologetic; the beauty of Blackness, theopoetic wonder, cultural affirmation, and an unyielding dignity in identity form the foundation of everything I create.
